Bride or Groom User Agreement

Welcome to the Bride or Groom User Agreement for youbuymywedding.com. This User Agreement describes the terms and conditions applicable to your use (as a registered bride or groom) of our service available under the domain at http://www.youbuymywedding.com (the "Site"). If you do not agree to be bound by this User Agreement, you may not use or access our service.

You must read, agree with and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in this User Agreement before you may complete the registration process to become a user of the Site.

We may amend this User Agreement at any time by giving you Notice by posting the amended User Agreement on the Site. Any amended User Agreement will govern new user registrations from the date that it is posted on the Site. Existing users will be bound by the amended User Agreement after the expiry of 30 days following the date of a Notice.

Registration Eligibility

Our services are not available to, and may not be used by, persons under the age of 18 years. If you are under 18 years old, you can use this service only in conjunction with and under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you do not qualify, please do not use our services.

User name and password

You must choose a user name and password as part of our registration process. You are responsible for all actions taken under both the user name and password and shall only use or utilise the Site using your own user name and password. You must use every effort to keep your password safe and should not disclose it to any other person.

Youbuymywedding.com is an online Wedding Fund Venue

The Site acts as a venue which allows users to either create, or make pledges within, a personal wedding page.  We do not review personal details as provided by users on their wedding page on the Site and we are not involved in pledge transactions between bride or groom and guests. As a result, we have no control over the ability of guests to pay for items they have pledged towards and we are therefore not responsible for ensuring that your desired Wedding Fund total is achieved.

Fees

Registering with youbuymywedding.com as a bride or groom incurs a one-off fee as detailed in our Registration Costs, however you will remain responsible for the on-line costs of accessing our Site. We may change our fee policy at any time, and any change will be effective after the expiry of 14 days following the date of posting on the Site.

Unless otherwise stated, all fees and commission are payable in GB Pounds sterling.

Cancellation or postponement of the wedding

youbuymywedding.com cannot be held responsible for cancellation or postponement of any wedding that has been registered within a personal wedding page.  In the event that you have to cancel or postpone your wedding, youbuymywedding.com will transfer your total wedding fund raised to date (less an administration charge of 4.75%) directly to the registered bride or groom whose responsibility it will then be to reimburse their guests.  At no time is the registration fee to be reimbursed.

Closure of your personal wedding page

Your personal wedding page will be closed for future pledges once you have requested (and received) withdrawal of your total wedding fund (less an administration fee of 4.75%) or one day after the scheduled date of your wedding, whichever is sooner.

Length of time that a personal wedding page may be registered on the Site

youbuymywedding.com will register your personal wedding page for guest pledges for a maximum of 6 months before your wedding.

Your Data

"Your Data" is defined as any information you provide to us in relation to the youbuymywedding.com service including that provided at registration and any other personal details contained within your personal wedding page. You are solely responsible for Your Data.

Storing of Your Data

We view the protection of users' privacy as a very important issue. Please note that youbuymywedding.com will hold Your Data in a safe, confidential and secure environment.  See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Access to our service

We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access to our service, and operation of the Site may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control. Therefore our website and our service is provided as and when available.

Limitation of Liability.

We will not be liable for any economic losses (including anticipated wedding fund savings), or any loss of goodwill or reputation, arising out of or in connection with this User Agreement.  

Wedding Suppliers Discount Promotion.

If you wish to take advantage of the discounts offered youbuymywedding.com willl supply registered users name, address, email and date of wedding to all suppliers participating in the scheme.
